Two arrests made for assault and witness tampering

About 11:20PM on Monday Evening Police were called to the area of 14th and Pierce for reports of an assault.
According to court documents Keegan Morris and Craig Mitchel were attempting to intimidate a witness from another assault case.
During the incident, the victim was struck with a rock causing serious injury to his ear. The victim was told not to show up for court.
Keegan Morris, 27 is charged with Aggravated Assault and Tempering with a Witness and is being held on $10,000 Bond at the Woodbury County Jail.
Craig Mitchel, 28 is charged with Willful Injury and Tampering with a Witness and is being held on $5000 Bond at the Woodbury County jail.
Both are scheduled to be in court on October 21st at 9:00AM
