Blizzard warning in Siouxland February 23rd 24th

The snow has begun and the roads are already becoming covered ranging from partially to completely in the tristate. If you must travel, take your time, be prepared with a winter travel kit and let someone know the route you will taking. It's being advised to avoid travel if you can.

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning in affect until Noon on Friday, February 24th. The snow will continue to fall throughout the night heavy at times with varying ranges, the immediate Siouxland Area can expect anywhere from 6 to 11 inches with snow tampering off Friday Morning. Wind is expected to be 20 to 30 mph tonight and Friday with gusts up to 40mph, expect visibility to drop be below a quarter mile at times.
