Lockdown Lifted for Woodbury Central and Maple Valley Anthon Oto

We spoke with Captain Wingert from Woodbury County Sheriff's Office. He says the person of interest has been interviewed and cleared. He says the school went on lockdown as a precaution while they worked leads from a burglary case. He stressed that the person that was interviewed was cleared and had nothing to do with the case.

Woodbury County Sheriff Dave Drew tweeted the lockdown was lifted at 1:02 p.m.

The tweet says the lockdown was precautionary and also included MVAO in Anthon. The lockdown was lifted and the person of interest is being interviewed.

We received reports about 11:40 a.m. that Woodbury Central School in Moville, Iowa is on lockdown.

We're told the lockdown began at 11:30 a.m. but the reason for the lockdown is unknown.
