Two aggravated thefts at Siouxland gas stations Sunday

Local law enforcement is looking for an individual accused of two aggravated thefts today. The first about 4:45 p.m. at Valley Stop 404 11th Street in Correctionville, Iowa and the 2nd about 7:30 p.m. at the Kum & Go at 2930 Gordon Drive in Sioux City, Iowa

Police are looking for a lean build male, about 5’8”, light brown or sandy hair, facial stubble and a tattoo on his right arm. Wearing a dark blue baseball cap, white shirt and white tank top, khaki cargo shorts, white socks pulled up and black shoes.

In Correctionville the suspect tried to grab money from an open cash drawer. After a struggle with the clerk, he fled without any money.

In Sioux City, the suspect lunged over the counter and reached into an open cash drawer pushing the clerk out of the way taking money and leaving the store on foot to the East.
