South Sioux City Teen shot in suspected robbery Wednesday Evening Police search for suspect

A release from South Sioux City Police says that at 10:37 pm on Wednesday, October 11th police responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 Block of East 16th Street.

A witness reported that someone had been shot with a BB Gun. It was later determined the victim of the shooting had been shot by a small caliber gun and sustained an injury to his right leg. The victim, an 18-year-old male was transported to Mercy Medical Center with non-life--threatening injuries.
