Dakota City Dog shot and killed Siouxland Humane Society offering 500 reward

A Dakota City resident posted to Facebook on Sunday afternoon January 28th that they found their dog Jaz dead on their front porch with a gunshot wound.

The posts have been shared thousands of times and have hundreds of comments showing support.

You're asked to contact the Dakota County Sheriff's Office with any information. The Siouxland Humane Society posted on Tuesday they were offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
