Court records show that Wiley Spencer, 19 of Sioux City is no stranger to Law Enforcement. In the last year, he has been charged with numerous crimes on multiple occasions including, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft 2nd, Theft 5th, Burglary 3rd, Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Burglary Tools, Eluding, as well as other traffic offenses.
The latest arrest happened on Tuesday evening after a short chase by police. This arrest included charges of Burglary, Theft, Eluding and Possession after an incident where Spencer and accused accomplice Marcos Guthridge, 18 broke into and took items from a stolen jeep. Spencer has since posted bond in the amount of $7500, while Guthridge remains in the Woodbury County Jail on $3000 bond.
Most of these arrests have happened in the last 4 months and have not yet been to trial while the accused criminal behavior appears to continue as new arrests happen almost monthly. Court proceedings for these charges are scheduled to begin in late March and another is scheduled for Early April. In late Summer of 2015, Spencer was sentenced to 2-years in prison, suspended, a fine and probation for Carrying Weapons.
