Police confirm the body of James Jensen was identified after being recovered in the Missouri River after being spotted by a fisherman on May 27th.

Sioux City Police are asking for public assistance in location 55-year-old James Jensen of Sioux City.

James disappeared on Thursday, May 10th about 10:00 pm after being dropped off by a taxi cab at Floyd Walmart. He did not arrange for a return pickup from Walmart which is uncommon for him.

Personal items were located behind Pizza Ranch and Sioux City Police and Fire searched the river and river banks for James but were unable to locate him. He does not drive and often uses Taxi's to get around.

It's not known what he was las wearing, he is a White Male, 55-years-old, 5'10" and approximately 165lbs and has short gray hair. He suffers from depression. If you have seen James since he disappeared or know where he possibly is you're asked to contact Sioux City Police Department at 712-279-6910
