Jared Stone was taken into custody at approximately 11:30PM and is currently being held in Laramie County Jail in Wyoming.
After a two-state pursuit spanning approximately 70 miles through Nebraska and into Wyoming 21-Year-Old homicide suspect, Jared Stone is in custody awaiting an extradition hearing. According to a press release Wyoming State Patrol deployed stop sticks just over the border into Wyoming which successfully deflates Stone's tires and Stone stopped the vehicle he was driving a 1988 Oldsmobile Passenger Car. Stone remained in the vehicle for about 25 minutes before surrendering, without further incident.
A Sioux Falls Police Briefing this morning broadcast by Argus Leader indicates at some time during the pursuit Stone fired 2 to 3 at Law Enforcement, there were no injuries as a result of the fired shots.
Stone's Lumina was spotted earlier in the day by South Dakota State Patrol after it had broken down. Stone at that time evaded arrest by giving a fake name.
According to a post from the Sioux Falls Police Department on Facebook, The suspect Jared Stone was driving a Blue 1998 Chevrolet Lumina with SD License Plate 52DC99 in Le Mars Tuesday Morning at 1:30AM
Plymouth County Sheriffs department made an arrest last night of a 26-year-old female LACHARA MARIE BORDEAUX in Le Mars. Lachara Bordeaux is currently being held in the Plymouth County Jail on a $1,000,000 cash bond. Lachara Bordeaux is believed to have been with Jared Stone in the days since the murder.
Siouxland Scanner received information on Monday that the car they were thought to be driving was seen in Sioux City 3 separate times on Friday. We referred that person to Sioux City Police. It's believed Jared Jerome Stone is in the Siouxland Area and possibly in the immediate Sioux City Area.
Wanted for murder in Sioux Falls on Friday, April 22nd, 2016, believed to be driving from Nebraska to Minnesota in a Silver 2014 Ford Fusion Plate Number EEK 289, is believed to be armed.
