Police locate wanted subject hiding in residence

Police were able to locate an arrest Willie Singleton, 26 at a residence in Sioux City after court documents say he assaulted a woman shortly after 5:00AM on Monday, who then tipped them off to his location.

Court documents say Singleton led police on a chase that reached speeds of over 80MPH earlier in the morning.

Singleton also has Warrants from Arkansas and Louisiana. He’s currently being held in the Woodbury County Jail on charges of Assault Serious Domestic, Hold for Louisiana, Fail to Have Control, Eluding, Driving Wrong Way and Assault Serious on $4,000 Bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 7th.
