Cook Park area Police Pursuit

Sioux City Police attempted to stop a vehicle near 5th and Pearl Streets in Downtown Sioux City about 1:40AM Tuesday Morning. The car pulled into the alley by Romantix and then took off. Police pursued the vehicle into the Cook Park area where the car sped around the neighborhood reaching speeds of 60MPH, running into curbs and running numerous stop signs. The pursuit ended in an accident about 6 minutes after it started in the 400 Block of Perry after Police performed a PIT maneuver.

Two vehicle occupants were detained. Siouxland Paramedics and Sioux City Fire Rescue were called to the scene for reported injuries.

Police arrested Quenton Jetton, 40 on charges of Eluding, Driving While Barred, OWI, Reckless Driving, Failure to Stop at Stop Sign, Speeding and Carrying a Concealed/Dangerous Weapon. Quenton is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on $10,500 Bond.
