Body of missing Kingsley Iowa Woman Located in creek

According to a release from the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department they received a call about 8:00AM Tuesday Morning that an unresponsive female was found in a creek near 43755 County Road C-66 in Kingsley.

Kingsley Ambulance, Fire, Police and Plymouth County Sheriff Responded and found a deceased female who was transported to Floyd Valley Hospital and identified as missing Lisa Derby of Kingsley.

The investigation is ongoing.

According to the Iowa Missing Persons Website, Lisa Derby was last seen on Sunday, February 19th, 2017. She’s described as a 57-year-old White Female, red hair and blue eyes, 5 ft 5 inches Tall Weighing 138 pounds.

Posts on Facebook indicate Lisa went for a walk about 6:00PM Sunday and has not been seen since.

A Walk Search Party has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 21st at 9:00AM, meeting at Dooskys In Kingsley
