South Sioux City Police investigating burglary of business on Dakota Avenue Thursday

South Sioux City Police responded to a burglary Thursday, August 10th about 9:23 p.m. at Marias Fashions and Grocery at 2205 Dakota Avenue in South Sioux City Nebraska.

Police say that shortly after the alarm the store owner located a number of individuals who fled the area on foot. There were reports of shots being fired but police were only able to say the investigation is just getting underway, additional information may be available as the investigation continues. It's not known what if anything was taken.
