Just before 2:00AM Saturday Morning a Sioux City Animal Control Vehicle was stolen from a residence on Sioux City’s West Side.

The truck was parked in the Animal Control workers driveway when it was stolen. The vehicle contained a Loaded 9MM handgun and the on-board computer is able to display Sioux City Police call information.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle about 40 minutes later a few blocks away in the same neighborhood that it was stolen from.

The vehicle was unoccupied when located and the only thing that appeared to be missing was a jacket.
