Robbery Suspect Info Advance Auto Parts

A release from Sioux City Police says that a male entered Advanced Auto on Sunday Evening, the 5th about 7:43PM and demanded money.

He is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 6’00 tall and weighing 180lbs, wearing a black face mask, black hoodie, black leather jacket, and blue jeans.

About 7:45PM on Sunday Evening, an armed robbery was reported at Advance Auto Parts at 3129 Gordon Drive in Sioux City.

Sergeant Jay Hoogendyk tells Siouxland Scanner police are looking Single Suspect who is believed to have fled the area behind the store into the Greenville Neighborhood. Nobody was injured in the incident. The investigation has just begun.

Scanner traffic indicated the suspect, a male wearing a black hoodie carrying a black and gray backpack took cash and the employees' cell phone and then locked them in the back room. Police and Police Canine responded setting up a permitter canvassing the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Security footage from the store and surrounding stores will be reviewed as well as evidence collected at the scene.
