K9 apprehends runner on West 4th

Shortly before 3:00PM on Tuesday afternoon Woodbury County Sheriff's Deputy stopped a vehicle in the 2800 Block of West 4th. Soon after someone jumped from the vehicle and took off running. The Deputies K9 was able to apprehend the suspect. Siouxland Paramedics and Sioux City Fire Rescue responded to the scene. The suspect was transported to the hospital to be checked out.
