Man arrested on multiple drug charges after eluding deputies

Law Enforcement was alerted to a red van that was a suspect in other crimes when the vehicle attempted to elude Woodbury County Deputies.

The chase started near Live Drive and Old Highway 75 and ended near Dace Ave and Business Highway 75 in Sioux City about 7:45AM Wednesday Morning.

In addition to charges of Felony Eluding, 80MPH in a 45MPH zone, failure to stop at a stop sign and Driving without a license, Deputies found 45 grams of Methamphetamine, 1.3 grams of Black Tar Heroin, 1.2 grams of Marijuana, 77 prescription pills not prescribed to Demoss and a Digital Scale with residue.

Cody Blue Demoss, 28 was arrested on charges related to eluding and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on $100,000 Bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 27, 2017
