Pursuit of wanted person in stolen car crashes in Moville driver arrested

A wanted, intoxicated male driving a stolen car took off from Ida County Deputies reaching speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour on Highway 20 before 1:00 am Sunday Morning June 10th. After crossing into Woodbury County, Ida County Deputies discontinued the pursuit.

Iowa State Patrol spotted the vehicle still in excess of 100 miles per hour and began to pursue it. Moville Police setup stop sticks which the vehicle drove over and a short time later crashed into a tree and a parked vehicle. The driver Jeremiah Larenzo Hudson, 22 took off on foot before being captured.

Hudson was booked into the Woodbury County Jail charged with Theft 1st, Eluding, Reckless Driving, Interfering with Official Acts, No Drivers license and a South Dakota Warrant.
