Multi-state Pursuit Ends In Downtown Sioux City

Just before 1:00 am Woodbury County deputies tried to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle.

The vehicle took off from deputies and was spiked on Gordon Drive. Eventually entering Nebraska on Highway 20. After travelling up Dakota Avenue, the pursuit re-entered Sioux City at the Veteran's Bridge. The pursuit came to an end just off of Floyd Blvd behind the Firehouse Bar.
Gabriel Freemont, 33, was taken into custody. A Iowa State Patrol car suffered a flat tire during the pursuit. Woodbury County was assisted by the Dakota County Sheriffs, Iowa State Patrol, Sioux City Police and South Sioux City Police.
