A man in a wheelchair was struck and killed by an SUV on Hamilton Boulevard Sunday night.
Sioux City police responded to the 300 block of Hamilton Blvd around 9:39 p.m. on February 9 for a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. Officers found that a 2007 Volvo SUV had struck a man in a wheelchair who was crossing the road.
The victim, 60-year-old Roy Anthony Wolfe of Sioux City, was taken to St. Lukes Unity Point by Sioux City Fire Rescue, where he was later pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has video of the incident is asked to contact the Sioux City Police Department.
