Overnight dispute turns violent one female stabbed another jailed

Court document says about 1:20 am Monday, June 18th police responded to reports of a stabbing at 1305 McDonald Street in Sioux City.

Police say, Amy Dehlia Thomas, 30 during a disturbance stabbed another female in the upper left chest area with a kitchen-style knife causing the handle to break off and the blade to lodge completely in the victim's chest.

The victim was transported to Mercy Medical Center was the blade was removed. The suspect Amy Dehlia Thomas was arrested and charged with Willful Injury and is being held on $10,000 Bond.
