Man arrested Monday morning charged with kidnapping and assault

Just after 9:00 am Monday morning police responded to 123 West 3rd for a disturbance. When police arrived they found 27-year-old Skyler Peterson holding a knife to a females throat.

Peterson refused to drop the knife, police deployed a taser and were able to take Peterson into custody without further incident. The female sustained only minor injuries.

Skyler Petersen was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree kidnapping and aggravated assault.
