Sioux City Police were called to a residence on the 700 Block of West 2nd about 20 minutes to 9:00PM on Thursday evening for reports of a burglary.

Initial reports indicated that four males kicked in the door to the residence and assaulted people inside. When leaving they were yelling “Westside Locos”. One was described as tall and skinny with tattoos all over, gray shirt with blue stripes and jeans.

Reports indicated during the assault they threw some type of liquid at them. Two reportedly left North through an alley and the other two West. Officers were able to locate them 15 minutes later near West 3rd and Cook Streets.

Court documents say that four males forced entry to the home saying them were looking for someone who no longer lives there. The four reportedly told the people in the residence to get out and threw a bowl of water at them. One of the four, Duane Twite, 25 is accused of striking a female at the residence knocking her to the ground. Reports say two of them had knives, which along with colored bandanas were found by Police.

After locating the four, Vincent Jones struggled with Officer William Enockson causing them both to fall, during this struggle police says Enockson suffered a fracture to his hand. While at the police station in the interview process they were yelling “Westside Locos”. Anthony Jones told officers he was a Westside Loco and had to “create a disturbance to make his image look good.” He then looked at an officer and said “I’m Sorry”, picked up a chair and threw it at the wall.

The four were arrested and taken to Woodbury County Jail.
