Stoplight shooting suspect arrested

About 4:30PM on Friday Sioux City Police released a statement that they had arrested Tevin Aimir Chadon Cunningham-Fead, 25 on charges of Attempted Murder related to a shooting that took place on Saturday, August 12th about 8:50PM at 11th and Pierce. The arrest took place at 14th and Center Streets during a traffic stop after the suspect was spotted in a vehicle on the West Side about 1:00PM

Reports indicate that about 10 minutes to 9:00PM on Friday evening a gunshot victim showed up at Mercy Medical Center with unknown gunshot wounds. A witness reported that at the stop light at 13th and Pierce a disturbance between people two vehicles ended in gunfire. Police found casings at 11th and Pierce and spent about 45 minutes at the scene investigating.

No information is available about the victim or their injuries at this time.
