ARMED ROBBERY L&K Laundry 19th and Court

According to a release from Sioux City Police, officers were called to 1906 Court Street, L&K Laundry at 9:08PM, Thursday evening for reports of an armed robbery.

The suspects 2 black males with their faces covered, one appearing to be in his late teens and the other in his early 20's left the scene on foot after a physical altercation. During the robbery, one of them is said to have displayed a handgun.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information is being released at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sioux City Police Department at 712-279-6440 or Crime Stoppers at 712-258-8477

Just after 9:00PM, Thursday Sioux City Police responded to reports of a Robbery at 19th and Court Streets.

Police searched the area for a couple of hours on foot and with K9 searching for 2 Black Males, one wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, a mask and armed with a gun.

There was a foot pursuit with 1 person taken into custody just before 10:00PM
