Shots fired reported at Sams Mini Mart on West 7th

Witnesses say they heard a single gunshot and a car drive away in one direction and a person run away in another.

Sioux City Police responded to 923 West 7th about 2:25PM on Wednesday afternoon after reports of a shot being fired. A blue Cheverlot Caprice with spoked rims and white walled wheels was seen leaving the scene and a male was seen running in the alley behind Sams Mini Mart after the incident.

A vehicle said to belong to an employee was found in the lot with what is believed to be a single bullet hole

Police were not able to provide any information as to the incident or what happened.
