Hogs escape after Semi Accident

A Semi hauling Hogs rolls over in Riverside Thursday evening just before 9:00PM

Sioux City Fire Rescue and Sioux City Police responded to a semi accident at Riverside and Highway 12. The semi rolled over allowing at least 20 hogs to escape the trailer before being corralled by Sioux City Animal Control. Crews were on the scene for hours cleaning up the accident and corralling hogs.

The driver crawled out of the cab and was walking around the scene.
