SUV Crashes into home on Villa Monday Afternoon

According to police, an SUV lost control and jumped a curb near Villa and Turner Streets hitting a home on Sioux City’s West Side about 1:15PM on Monday afternoon.

The vehicle’s driver was Eastbound on Villa Avenue, lost control, jumped a curb, narrowly missed a utility pole and garbage can then crashed into a porch causing an unknown amount of damage.

There were no injuries reported from the 3 occupants of the SUV, police say a citation will be issued and the crash is still under investigation.
