Woman stabbed Sunday afternoon on 14th street during disturbance

Sioux City Police responded to a disturbance between multiple people about 4:13 pm on Sunday.

Police located a female with a stab wounds to her leg and arm, she was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another female, the suspect had left the scene. Police located the suspect at an apartment complex at 11th and Nebraska but she would not come outside.

Police obtained a warrant the the suspect was taken into custody about 6:00pm. The suspect threw a knife toward officers when they were serving the warrant.

36-year-old Ann Marie Falicia was charged with Wilfull Injury and four counts of assault on an officer. She's being held in Woodbury County Jail on $25,000 Bond.
