Man reports carjacking after rolling disturbance between associates

As of Friday, January 19th police say they located the car on the 1600 Block of 26th Street, the three occupants were also located and interviewed. Three people in total including the original victim were found to have non-life-threatening knife wounds. None of the people involved wished to pursue any charges. The incident has been updated to a rolling disturbance between associates.

Sioux City Police say in a release that about 6:17 pm Thursday, January 18th a man was driving in his car when the other three occupants of the car attacked him and stole his car, a Green 2000 Buick Regal South Dakota License 7C4374.

The release says the victim a 25-year-old suffered minor lacerations to his leg and some scrapes and bruises. He was reportedly stabbed in the leg and thrown from the vehicle before the suspects fled the scene near 6th and Court Streets in his car.
