Man arrested after robbing fireworks stand with a knife after being denied free fireworks

Court Documents say that just after midnight on June 29th Kegan Morris approached a fireworks stand in the parking lot at 1730 Pierce Street.

Morris asked the person working security for free fireworks, security denied the request. Morris then pulled out a knife and said just tell the owners you were robbed. Security again denied the request.

With the knife still in hand, Morris told the security person that he was robbing him. He stole some bottle rockets and larger rockets with an estimated value of about $10.00

Kegan Lee Morris, 29 was located a few blocks away and arrested for Robbery 1st Degree. He is being held at Woodbury County Jail on $10,000 Bond.
