Sioux City Fire Rescue  Chief 19, Engine 1, Engine 4, Engine 8, Truck 1, Truck 3  responded to a house fire on the 1900 Block of West 3rd St Tuesday evening.

Firefighters had the fire knocked down in about 10 minutes but remained on scene until about 10:00pm

According to the property owner, the house is a rental and is a total loss as a result of the fire which was believed to be a grease fire.
