About 11:30PM on Wednesday evening police were contacted because a resident saw someone trying to break into their home near West 19th and Casselman Street in Sioux City.

According to radio traffic police responding did find a door kicked in and the reporting party reported a broken window. Police located footprints in the snow and were able to track them back to a nearby home where they located at least one suspect.

We have not heard back from Sioux City Police about charges or arrests.
