Police say that a suspected intoxicated driver driving a white van is reported to have ran a stop light at 3rd and Wesley Way hitting a Tan Chevrolet Pickup in Sioux City about 8:40PM Friday Evening.

The truck was occupied by 2 people, one had to be extracted by Sioux City Fire Rescue, they were both transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The van was undrivable and came to a stop near Palmer Candy at West 4th and Wesley Way. The driver is suspected of being impaired and was also transported to the hospital to be checked out.
