Sioux City Police responded to the 1700 Block of Pierce Street about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd. Initial scanner traffic indicated that a person fell from a balcony. The call was almost immediately changed to reports of a stabbing.

As we arrived on scene Siouxland Paramedics were transporting a patient to the hospital, as Sioux City Fire Rescue was leaving they were requested back to the scene as well as another ambulance for reports of a person with head injuries. Witnesses tell Siouxland Scanner that multiple people were fighting and a man was stabbed and thrown over the balcony.
