In a release, police say they have arrested 2 people after reports of shots fired on Wednesday Evening in Sioux City.
Police responded to the 1400 block of Pierce Street just after 9:00 pm on for reports of shots being fired in the area. Upon arrival, several individuals were located in different areas in the neighborhood.
Officers located spent shell casings and located a gun matching the caliber of the casings. Police believed that 2 separate incidents they suspects were related to both. Individuals were interviewed and the incident remains under investigation.
Police arrested an unnamed 17-year-old Juvenile and 32-year-old Matthew Lynam. Lynam charges include robbery 1st, intimidation with a weapon, felon in possession of firearm, and going armed with intent
