Police arrest man for Felony Burglary and Robbery

Sioux City Police responded to a call at 204 Bluff St a little after 4:00PM today for a report of a man who had just stolen a cell phone while displaying a gun. Before Police could arrive it was reported the man attempted to steal a vehicle while holding a gun to someone's head.

As police arrived they were able to locate the suspect and found the gun in the middle of the street, later identified as a pellet gun.

Police arrested Dacota Stabler, 25 on 2 counts of Robbery 2nd Degree, 1 count of Burglary 2nd Degree and, 1 count of simple assault. He's currently being held in the Woodbury County Jail on $50,000 bond.
