About 1:30 Sunday Morning August 5th Sioux City Police responded to 420 Jackson Street for a disturbance and reports of shots being fired.

Police say that a during disturbance people were leaving when shots were believed to have been heard. In addition, someone threw a speaker through a window. Evidence of shots being fired were discovered at the scene including a shell casing and a bullet hole.

No injuries were reported. It's not known who fired the shot, the person who threw the speaker through the window was arrested.
