Update
Georgia Grau of Sioux City has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Domestic Assault and Going Armed With Intent after a shooting a family member at a Morningside home. The victim, an adult male, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Just after 7:00 pm Sioux City Police responded to the 5600 block of Hayworth Ave after reports of an injury from a gunshot.

Sioux City Fire Rescue also responded to the scene. One person was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound. No other information has been released at this time as the incident remains under investigation.
