Tuesday Morning pursuit leads to arrest

Police arrested Armando Matthew Valerio, 23 after a short pursuit on Tuesday Morning. Police attempted to stop a Red Dodge Caliber about 2:30AM on Tuesday near W5th between Rebecca and Isabella for reckless driving when the vehicle took off. The chase ended near West 4th and Colon. After a search of the area, Police located Valerio behind a home on the 200 Block of Prescott.
Valerio was arrested and charged with OWI 2nd, Driving While Barred, Drivers License Suspended, No Vehicle Insurance, Reckless Driving, Speeding, and Eluding. He's currently being held at the Woodbury County Jail on $15,000 Bond.
