Sioux City Police were called to Sam's Mini Mart at 927 West 7th about 9:30 pm Thursday Evening for reports of a person being stabbed.

Shortly after they were called saying the victim was on the 2800 block of West 4th Street. Police and EMS responded to that address as well as the West 7th address.

The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries from the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
