Overnight assault robbery and theft leads to 3 arrests

About 1:30AM Sioux City Police, Siouxland Paramedics, and Sioux City Fire Rescue responded to the 500 Block of West 3rd for what was initially reported as vehicle vs pedestrian hit and run. Police quickly learned this was a robbery and assault and established a perimeter in the area and began a search for two suspects.

The suspects described as African American male with curly hair, wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, and shorts . The other a Native American male with, shoulder length shaggy hair,  tattoo on his right shoulder, wearing a tank top,   jean shorts, and black shoes.

Officers were unable to locate the suspects in the area. A short time later a call came from Wal-Mart on Floyd Blvd of a theft and property damage. Officers on scene identified the suspects at Wal-Mart as the same as from assault and robbery.

A release from Sioux City Police says that 3 suspects, 2 males and a female assaulted the victim Anthony Hartman, 37. He was struck in the face with firsts and was rendered unconscious. His head was also stomped on several times leading to a fracture of his orbital socket. The victim was then robbed. He was transported to the hospital and released after receiving stitches.

After leaving the area the suspects then went to Floyd Wal-Mart where they stole alcohol and damaged a door, according to the release. All suspects were arrested and are currently at Woodbury County Jail.

Keenan Aldrich, 22  is charged with Robbery 1st, Assault Serious on Police Officer, Theft 5th, and Willful Injury, he is being held without bail.

Quincy Louis JR, 19  is charged with Robbery 1st, WillFul Injury, Theft 5th and Criminal Mischief 4th and being held on $50,000 Bond.

Alaina Zavala, 22  is charged with Robbery 1st, Theft 5th and is being held on $40,000 Bond.
