ARRESTED Pursuit ends in Riverside with suspect hiding in home

A wanted suspect was arrested after a pursuit through Sioux City Westside and Riverside Neighborhoods by Sioux City Police.


Sioux City Police attempted to stop a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica driven by a wanted suspect. The vehicle failed to stop and took off Westbound on West 1st Street, racing through Westside neighborhoods and into Riverside in an attempt to evade officers. After circling the block at Military, Fredette and Boise Streets he crashed his vehicle in an alley and ran into a home at 5306 Military Rd.

He surrendered to officers about 15 minutes later and was taken into custody without incident. Woodbury County Sherrif's Department assisted. 

Skyler Peterson, 24 was arrested and charged with Eluding, Reckless Driving, Drivers License Revoked, No Vehicle Insurance, 2 Counts of Failure to have control, and Parole Violation. He's currently being held in Woodbury County Jail
