Owner spots their stolen vehicle

Police arrested Christopher Brickley, 27 on charges of Theft 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and carrying a weapon.

A little after 7:00PM on Tuesday evening the owner of a Silver 2002 Pontiac Grand Am spotted their car in the area of the Tyson Event Center and notified police.

When police arrived they ran the plates on the car, which did not come back as a stolen vehicle. They found the plates on the vehicle were stolen from a similar color, make and model vehicle.

According to court documents, Brickley admitted that he was knowingly in possession of a stolen vehicle and had been driving it for the past two days. During a search of the vehicle police found a glass pipe with a burnt substance consistent with methamphetamine and a set of brass knuckles, Brickley admitted that the brass knuckles and meth pipe were his and that he was addicted to methamphetamine.

Christopher Brickley is currently being held at the Woodbury County Jail on $5600 Bond, his next court appearance is scheduled for October 21st at 9:00AM
