On Friday, April 28th about 3:48 p.m. Dakota County Sheriff, Nebraska State Patrol and Dakota City Fire Rescue and Siouxland Paramedics responded to a crash on Highway 35 between H and I Avenue in Dakota County.
Dakota County Sheriff's Deputy says an SUV and a Semi collided on the Highway. There was extensive damage to the SUV and as well as Damage to the Semi, requiring both to be towed from the scene. Another vehicle also sustained minor damage as a result of the debris from the accident.
The driver of the SUV had to be extricated from her vehicle and was transported to the hospital with what the deputy believed to be minor injuries. The Semi was traveling Westbound and the SUV Eastbound. The cause of the accident is not known and the accident remains under investigation.
