Cyrus Allen Free, a 48-year-old Native American Male is in custody in Scott County Minnesota after being accused of multiple crimes in the Siouxland area this year.

We learned Monday of his arrest in Scott County Minnesota on Monday, May 29th at 7:35 a.m. We received information over the weekend that Cyrus A Free in addition to warrants in Woodbury County and Wanted by Thurston County and the FBI, was also the suspect in two Siouxland Armed Robberies in late May.

Sioux City Police say in a release Thursday Free is their suspect in the armed robbery of the Tabacco Hut at 27th and Chambers in Sioux City on May 22nd, leaving with cash and cigarettes. Robbery Article

Dakota County Sheriff's Office confirms Free is their suspect in armed robbery of the Pony Express in South Sioux City on May 27th, leaving with cash and cigarettes. Robbery Article

On March 3rd a warrant was entered for Free in Woodbury County after failing to appear in court on charges from February 7th that included Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drugs, OWI 3rd and Open container.

On May 25th Thurston County Sheriff Office shared posters showing Free was wanted by the FBI for Sexual Assault in Indian Country and that he was believed to be driving a stolen 2005 White Ford 500. Facebook Post
