LeMars man found dead on Wednesday death being called suspicious by law enforcement

Just after 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13th LeMars Ambulance, and Plymouth County Deputies responded to 34782 Highway 3 in LeMars for a report of a man found dead.
Plymouth County Deputies in a release on Thursday are calling the death suspicious. Woodbury County Investigation unit is assisting Plymouth County in the investigation. The release says that John Peter Kolley age 57 resided at the residence and was found dead on the kitchen floor, by his son on Wednesday.
The cause of death is currently unknown and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday, December 15th in Ankeny by the State Medical Examiners Office. The investigation is continued and the officials are not ruling out homicide, suicide, accidental or natural causes at this point.
