Aaron Heaton, 39 of Sioux City was arrested on March 1st for Sex Offender Registration Violation and released on $3,000 Bond.

Court documents show Heaton was convicted on July 15th,1999 on 3 counts of Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse, from an incident from when he was 14 and sentenced to 2 years suspended prison sentence, 3 years probation, 90 hours of community service and a $500 fine.

Siouxland Scanner learned in January that Heaton had been seen on multiple occasions at East Middle School Basketball practices which being on school property is a violation of his sex offender restrictions without written permission from a school administrator.

Heaton is scheduled to be back in Court March 9th at 9:00 am
