Police say in a release they have arrested 31-year-old Eric Thomas Woods of Sioux City after reports of sexual abuse.

The release says a juvenile female disclosed a sexual assault to her mother that occurred in Sioux City. Police made contact with Woods who was transported to the police department for questioning where he was arrested and charged with Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree.

Woods is being held in the Woodbury County Jail. The name of the victim is not being released.
