Sioux City Police say they were following up on a missing person case from November of 2017 when Joshua Johnston-Lampe, 38 aka Shady was reported missing.

A release from the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office says at the request of Detective Thompson from The Sioux City Police Department a search warrant was issued and executed in Dakota County at 1258 Highway 12, Jackson Nebraska.

During the execution of the search warrant a controlled substance was located and James Shaugnessy, 31 was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

No other information has been released from either agency on the connection and reason for the search.

Sioux City Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Joshua Johnston-Lampe is asked to contact the Sioux City Police Department.
